SWGEmu LaunchPad - November 2013

I'm getting a forbidden download error message and a 403 error when I try to use the new launchpad.

"Error downloading http://launchpad2.net/setup.cfg - server replied: Forbidden"

Same here. Any fix for this?

ok guys the lpe is broke just use the swg.exe in the swgemu folder that starts the game up and takes you to log in screen. i just copy that to my desktop and it starts the game.

same here !? and i have 2x SWG, i use the last one to install ?The Total Experience .... or is better to install with an Empire Divided Box without JtL ?

figured out how to scan for errors.

data sku tre 07 is invaled along with two or three others.

This does not work if you are simply trying to download the files needed to run SWGemu. For those of us that need complete the install process of the emu, we are getting the "server Forbidden" error when attempting to download those emu files.

The error I see is:

I'm still able to get in game with the old launcher, it's just the official servers are gone, but I have SWGemu server listed.

yeah the new launchpad has some problems.

but keep in mind..

you can still login to the game with swgemu button from the installation folder!

that way you can play and use the swgemulaunchpad when its fixed

can you still download LPE? so you coud play.?

LPE not working... again - 11/21/13

Seems that host where LPE and patch files are stored has pulled a Houdini on us... Again. That is the reason why LPE isnt working and should not be used.
Those that have game client installed and working do not use LPE (ever again), just go straight to your SWGEmu folder, locate swgemu.exe and run the game like that. If you run LPE first there is a good chance you will mess up your game client.
Those that used LPE and it broke their game client, you can try downloading this: https://www.swgemu.com/swgemu/downloa...onfigFiles.rar and extracting everything except swgemu_login.cfg in to your C:\SWGEmu folder (replace the existing files). Or if that doesnt work you just have to wait.
Those that need to install or reinstall, you are out of luck, you have to wait for LPE host to fix what ever issue they have.

And most important, why are you still using LPE? You should only use it to install SWGEmu client and never again. Always use swgemu.exe... always.
