I often get asked where I got my ST chestplates with pauldron.

well I thought I'd make a post on it as I see a lot of people asking.

 

Dathomir Singing mountain clan quest.

NW of Outpost

WP: 158 4524

 

You dont need good SMC faction, as they are static NPC's and dont attack, but they may not speak to you if your FP is really bad.

You have to be Rebel or neutral also, as Imperials cannot kill their own.

 

Basically go into the 2nd room and speak to the Vurleen, the 1st mission she give you is to kill a ST Sgt and bring back his chest plate as proof.

 

when you get to the WP there will be four Troopers, one of them is the Sgt, just examine them all before you attack and then just attack the Sgt, he will run like Forrest Gump so just follow and kill him, the other ST's will not follow but attack at range until you fall out of range. (be warned he will run through many agro mobs which will also want a piece of your Butt)

 

Once he is dead you will get the normal message to return to the preson who gave you the mission, before you do this you want to stash the chestplate in your backpack or droid and then head back.

Now! you can either speak to Vurleen and tell her you couldnt do it, and she'll basically call you a wimp or you can talk to one of her sisters and get them to releave you of your current obligations.

 

then just rinse and repeat as often as you like

EDIT NOTE: she is in the 2nd room, I may have gotten the names mixed up.

you will walk into a hall way, turn right through a door and there are 2 SMC sister and a 3rd with an "i" over her head, WALK PAST HER! and go though the door next to her and you will see the SMC who give you the ST Sgt quest.

Its the 1st one she gives so you dont have to mess about doing 3-4 missions.

i heard that this quest no longer drops the ST armor... any truth in that? being Imp i cant try for myself..
